    About Vaishno Devi

    Mata Vaishno Devi was born as Vaishnavi and was asked by the goddesses who created her to live on earth and spend her time attaining the high level of consciousness. She was then later directed by Lord Rama to set up an Ashram at the base of Trikuta Hills, meditate and grow spiritually; and she did as she was directed. However, Bhairon Nath gradually lost the sense of purpose and fell in love with her, and started to annoy her to marry him. The goddess killed him and while dying, Bhairon Nath realized his mistake, and thus, asked for forgiveness. Mata Vaishno Devi not only forgave him but also granted him a boon.

    Itinerary


    • Day 1:

      • Morning meet on arrival at Jammu Railway station and drive to Katra. On arrival at Katra check in at hotel. In the Afternoon at 1 '0' clock transfer to Helipad to catch the chopper for Shanjichat. From here will start trek to Mata Vaishno Devi shrine. After Darshan back to Shanjichat to catch the chopper for Katra. On arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel..

    • Day 2:

      • After early breakfast go for excursion to Shivkhori temple. After darshan return back to the starting point and transferred back to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

    • Day 3:

      • After Breakfast drive back to Jammu and transfer to Airport/Railway station for your onward destination.
