After breakfast, start your Holy Journey to Shiv Khori, the 2nd most popular Hindu pilgrimage destination in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, located about 80 km from Katra, the site of the holy Vaishno Devi temple. Shiv Khori is essentially a cave temple, which houses a Lingum (symbol of Lord Shiva), and is considered holy by Hindus, who turn up in lakhs every year to worship it. The temple of Shiv Khori is located in the village of Ransoo, which is the base for this pilgrimage. Buses and other vehicles can drive upto Ransoo, from where Shiv Khori is a 4 km hike by foot.
